Annville, PA (March 5, 2025) – Seniors
Devin Atkinson and
Caleb Gibbs were both honored being named to the All-MAC Freedom Second-Team as voted on by the eight MAC Freedom coaches and as announced by the conference office on Wednesday morning.
Atkinson receives his first career All-Conference nod, as he finished third on the team and ranks 14
th in the MAC Freedom in scoring (13.1 PPG) this season. He also led the team and is fifth in the conference with a 54.1% field goal percentage. Atkinson made a team-high 42 three's while shooting 46.7% from beyond the arc. He also finished second on the team and sixth in the MAC Freedom in rebounding (7.0 RPG). Atkinson finishes his career with 690 points, 90 made three's, and a 40% three point percentage which ranks 7
th all-time in program history.
Gibbs is named to the Second-Team for the second time in his career after taking home the honor last season as well. He led the team and ranks seventh in the MAC Freedom in scoring (15.9 PPG) while also leading DSU and ranking fourth in the conference in rebounding (8.2 RPG) this season. Gibbs also led the team in blocks (26) and ranks fourth in the MAC Freedom in blocks per game (1.0). He finishes his career with 932 points, 18 double-doubles (6
th all-time), and 642 rebounds (11
th all-time).
