Women's Lacrosse Ties Goals Record; Landers Scores 100th Goal in 24-1 Win at Gwynedd-Mercy

Gwynedd-Valley, PA (March 8, 2025) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team extended its winning streak to four straight dominating Gwynedd-Mercy University, 24-1, in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.

  • Senior Jess Brey (6g, 1a) and junior Christina DiGuglielmo (3g, 4a) each had seven points and Brey totaled six draw controls.
  • Junior Bridey Lawler had four goals and two assists and sophomore Sophia Campola added three goals and two assists for five points.
  • Senior Meagan Landers became just the second player in team history to score 100 career goals, totaling two goals and two assists in the win.
  • Junior Danielle Sieja had a goal and led the team with seven draw controls.
  • Junior Emma Williamson had two caused turnovers to lead the defense.
