Camden, NJ (April 10, 2025) - The DeSales University softball team evened its record for the season sweeping a non-conference doubleheader at Rutgers-Camden on a rainy Thursday afternoon.
Game One (W/15-0)
DSU got six unearned runs in the third inning on a two-RBI single from seniorÂ
Tori Kenney, RBI double from juniorÂ
Shana Gugliandolo, and three-run home run from sophomoreÂ
Abigayle Freideman.
The Bulldogs blew the game open in the top of the fourth scoring nine times on seven hits in the inning.
SeniorÂ
Rachel Lowry did the rest earning her ninth win of the season tossing a five-hit shutout striking out seven. It is Lowry's 11th career shutout moving her into third place all-time.
Freideman finished 3-for-3 with two runs scored and four RBIs and Kenney was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and three RBIs. SophomoreÂ

Paige Hromin each scored twice in the win.
Game Two (W/3-2)
DSU took a 2-0 lead in the first inning on a two-RBI double from Gugliandolo and added a run in the second to take a 3-0 lead.
JuniorÂ
Riley Long finished off the win pitching seven strong innings allowing just two runs in the sixth inning. She struck out five to earn her second win of the season.
Kenney had two hits in the game two win.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Sunday when they travel to Stevens for a MAC Freedom doubleheader beginning at 1:00 pm.
