Perry Scores 100th Career Goal Leading Men's Lacrosse to Fifth Straight Win, 18-1, over King's

Center Valley, PA (April 12, 2025) - Senior Nate Perry scored his 100th career goal as the DeSales University men's lacrosse team cruised to an 18-1 win over King's College to extend their winning straight to five games on Saturday afternoon in MAC Freedom action. 

The Basics
  • Final Score: DeSales - 18, King's - 1
  • Records: DeSales (6-7; 3-0 MAC Freedom); King's (1-11; 0-4 MAC Freedom)
  • DeSales wins its eighth straight in the series and improves to 21-5 all-time vs. the Monarchs.
  • Perry scores his 100th career goal and moves into 8th all-time in program history in goals. 
How it Happened
  • DeSales set the tone early in this one scoring six of the game's first seven goals as they held a 6-1 lead after 15 minutes of play. Perry led the way with two goals in the quarter.
  • DSU extended the lead in the second scoring four more goals as they lead swelled up to 10-1 into the halftime break.
  • The Bulldogs cruised in the second half as they scored four goals in the third quarter and four more in the fourth quarter while holding the Monarchs scoreless to provide the final 18-1 tally. 
Top Bulldog Performers
  • 10 different Bulldogs scored in the win.
  • Junior Jake Hurd led the team in scoring with three goals and three assists for six points. 
  • Perry finished with three goals and two assists for five points.
  • Junior Mark Winkler Jr. scored three goals. 
  • Senior Jake Fratarcangeli scored one goal and tallied three assists for four points.
  • Senior Anthony Gash won 15 face-offs and tallied 12 ground balls. He is now just nine face-off wins away from the all-time program record. 
  • Senior Hunter Waldron made four saves and record the win. 
For the Foes
  • Ryan Rickards made 15 saves in goal in the loss for the Monarchs.
Inside the Box Score
  • DeSales out shot KC, 57-22, and had a 46-19 advantage in ground balls.
  • DSU won 18-of-23 faceoffs.
