Center Valley, PA (April 2, 2025) - The DeSales University baseball team fell behind 6-0 and 9-2 and was unable to recover falling to Wilkes University, 13-8, in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.
Wilkes got five runs in the top of the first inning and added another run in the second to take a 6-0 lead.
The Bulldogs got two runs back in the bottom of the second inning but the Colonels scored three more in the third to take a 9-2 lead.
DeSales crossed home plate four times in the bottom of the third inning to get within three (9-6) but Wilkes scored three more times in the fifth to lead 12-6 and the Bulldogs were unable to get much going offensively the rest of the way.

Jeremy Stranix and juniorÂ
JT Anderosky each had two hits in the loss.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Friday when they host FDU-Florham in the first game of the three-game weekend set on Friday beginning at 3:30 pm.
