Fourth Quarter Surge Leads Women's Lacrosse past Arcadia, 12-9

Glenside, PA (April 26, 2025) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team scored four straight goals in the fourth quarter to pull away for a 12-9 win over Arcadia University in the MAC Freedom regular season finale on Saturday afternoon.

  • Records: DeSales (15-2, 5-2 MAC Freedom); Arcadia (9-8, 3-4 MAC Freedom)
  • The win clinches the #3 seed for the Bulldogs in next week's MAC Freedom postseason tournament.
  • DSU earns a rematch with the #2 seed Lebanon Valley College on Wednesday at LVC beginning at 6:00 pm.
  • The win snaps a two-game losing skid to the Knights and improves DeSales to 3-2 all-time vs. the Knights.

How it Happened
  • DeSales had a slow start in this one as Arcadia scored the first four goals of the game and led 5-2 after one quarter of play.
  • The Bulldogs dominated the second quarter scoring all five goals, taking a 7-5 lead into the half.
  • The Knights came out of the locker room to score two of the first three goals to get within one (8-7) at the end of the third quarter.
  • Senior Jess Brey opened the final quarter with three straight goals and the Bulldogs scored four straight themselves to take a 12-7 lead and never looked after that.
 Top Bulldog Performers
  • Brey was outstanding late in this one scoring six goals.
  • Junior Hailey Linebaugh had a goal and five assists to also record six points.
  • Junior Emma Williamson had two goals and junior Christina DiGuglielmo added three assists, giving her 198 career points.
  • Senior Michaela Regan had 10 saves in between the pipes.

  • Jaylee Killgore had four goals to lead the Knights.
  • Mackenzie Clark added two goals and one assist.
