Men's Lacrosse Opens MAC Freedom Play with 22-4 Route over Aggies; 13 Different Bulldogs Score in Win

Doylestown, PA (April 5, 2025) – The DeSales University men's lacrosse team scored 15 first-half goals leading to a 22-4 route over Delaware Valley University in the MAC Freedom opener on Saturday afternoon.

  • DSU wins its seventh straight game vs. the Aggies improving to 9-1 all-time.
How it Happened
  • The Bulldogs scored the game's first six goals before the Aggies got the board with 2:50 remaining in the first quarter as DSU held an 8-1 lead after 15 minutes of play. Junior Jake Hurd led the way for DeSales having a first quarter hat trick.
  • DSU broke the game open in the second quarter scoring seven more goals and shutting out the Aggies in the quarter to take a 15-1 lead into the break.
  • Bulldogs cruised the rest of the way outscoring DVU, 7-3, in the second half to win the MAC Freedom opener.

  • 13 different Bulldogs scored a goal in the win.
  • Hurd led all scorers with five goals and four assists for nine points in the win.
  • Senior Nate Perry had three four goals and three assists for seven points.
  • Senior Anthony Gash went a perfect 15-for-15 in face-offs.

  • Kieran Schneider led the Aggies in scoring with three goals and one assist for four points.
  • Daniel Hickling was charged with the loss in goal making 10 saves.
