Center Valley, PA (April 5, 2025) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team used a 10-0 first half lead to cruise to a 16-2 win over Delaware Valley, on senior day in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.

The Basics

• Final Score: DeSales - 16, Delaware Valley - 2
• Records: DeSales (11-1, 1-1 MAC Freedom); Delaware Valley (6-5, 0-1 MAC Freedom)
• DSU wins its seventh straight game vs. the Aggies improving to 7-1 all-time.
• DeSales breaks the single-season program record for wins in a season surpassing 10 wins that was done in 2019 and 2024. 

How it Happened

• DeSales set the tone early in this one scoring seven goals in the first quarter to jump out to a 7-0 lead after 15 minutes of play. Juniors Emma Williamson (3g) and Bridey Lawler (2g) led the Bulldogs in scoring in the first.
• DSU extended its lead in the second quarter scoring three more goals as the lead stood at 10-0 heading into the halftime break.
• The second half featured less scoring but ultimately the Bulldogs cruised to the win as the lead never fell below 12 and grew to as much as 14 to provide the final tally.

 Top Bulldog Performers

• Lawler (5g) and Williamson (4g, 1a) led the Bulldogs in scoring with five points. 
• Junior Christina DiGuglielmo scored one goal and tallied three assists for four points in the win.
• Senior Meagan Landers (2g, 1a), junior Sara Forchelli (2g, 1a), and sophomore Sophia Campola (1g, 2a) each had three points.
• Junior Danielle Sieja won a team-high five draw controls.

 For the Foes

• Kyra McKeegan led the Aggies in scoring with one goal and one assist for two points.
• Emily Drake made nine saves in goal in the loss.

 Inside the Box Score

• DeSales had a 32-21 advantage in shots.
• DSU held an edge in ground balls, 24-17.
• DSU won 13-of-22 draw controls.
