Annville, PA (May 9, 2025) - Seven members of the DeSales University softball team were named All-Conference as announced by the conference office on Friday morning and as voted on by the eight MAC Freedom coaches.

Sophomore Abigayle Freideman led the way being named to the All-MAC Freedom First-Team. Junior Shana Gugliandolo was named to the All-MAC Freedom Second-Team. Seniors Rachel Lowry and Tori Kenney along with sophomore Paige Hromin and first-year students Gianna Angermeier and Katie Sharkey each earned Honorable-Mention All-MAC Freedom honors.

Freideman earns All-Conference honors for the first time in her career after having a breakout sophomore campaign. She was second on the team with a .338 batting average to go along with three home runs and 17 RBIs.

Gugliandolo also earns All-Conference honors for the first time, having played out of the designated player position for the Bulldogs. She led the team with a .371 batting average and nine doubles for 17 RBIs. Gugliandolo ranks 10^th in the conference in batting average with a .405 clip during conference play.

Lowry makes her second consecutive appearance on the All-Conference team, having made it on the First-Team last season. She made 21 appearances on the mound posting a 12-6 overall record and a 2.82 ERA. Lowry pitched 14 complete games, 3 which were shutouts, punching out 84 hitters, and tossed 114 innings throughout the season. She ranked fifth in the conference in wins, 10^th in ERA, fourth in innings pitched, and third in strikeouts. Lowry ends her career at DeSales currently ranked second all-time in wins (45), second in appearances (84), fourth in games started (64), fourth in innings pitched (414.1), third in strikeouts (303), 11^th in ERA (3.09), and fifth in complete games pitched (47).

Kenney earns All-Conference honors for the third time in her career. She was fifth on the team with a .322 batting average, while leading the team with 38 hits, five home runs, and 24 RBIs. Kenney ranks second in during conference play in home runs (3), and eighth in RBIs (11). She ends her career currently ranked fourth all-time in team history with 93 RBIs.

Hromin appears on the All-Conference team for the second straight season, having earned Honorable-Mention honors last season as well. She was sixth on the team with a .321 batting average. Hromin also led the team in runs scored (26) and was second in RBIs (18). She ranked fourth in RBIs in the conference during conference play with 14 RBIs. 

Angermeier and Sharkey make the All-Conference team in their first years with the program. Angermeier was excellent during conference play ranking fifth in batting average (.438), second in hits (21), second in runs scored (13), and 10^th in RBIs (10). Sharkey finished third on team with a .330 batting average, while tallying 32 hits, and stealing eight bases.
