New Orleans, LA (July 23, 2025) - Both the DeSales University men's and women's track & field teams were honored on Tuesday being named All-Academic by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as announced on the organization's web site.
For a team to be honored, they must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 or higher through the spring semester.
The DeSales women's team had a 3.45 cumulative GPA and the men's team had a 3.30 cumulative GPA following the spring semester.
During the year the men's team had 20 student-athletes earn MAC Winter Academic Honor Roll honors and the women's team had 18 earn the honor. In the spring the men's team saw 23 student-athletes earn MAC Spring Academic Honor Roll honors as the women's team had 19 student-athletes take home the honor.
