Sullivan's Blast Gives Men's Soccer a 2-1 Win at Hood

Frederick, MD (September 13, 2025) - Sophomore Larry Sullivan scored from about 25 yards out into the left upper 90 with 3:46 left giving the DeSales University men's soccer team a 2-1 win over Hood College on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
  • The Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead in the 31st minute when senior Liam MacDonald scored on a centering feed from first-year Osmar Ferre.
  • That lead stood into the half but Hood tied the game at one 9:43 into the second-half.
  • With just under four minutes left the Bulldogs threatened and the ball was weakly cleared to a waiting Sullivan who blasted a shot into the left upper 90 giving DSU a 2-1 lead and ultimately the win..
