Center Valley, PA (September 17, 2025) - The DeSales University volleyball saw four players total 10+ digs, erasing an 0-2 deficit for a 3-2 win over local rival Moravian University on Wednesday evening in Billera Hall.
DeSales scored eight straight points in the first set to take a 10-3 lead and led 14-6 before Moravian eventually forced a tie at 19. DeSales had two chances to win the set leading 24-22 but the Greyhounds scored the last four points to steal the first set, 26-24.
The second set was very similar with the Bulldogs holding an 18-12 lead before MU tied the set at 21. DSU had set points at 24-23 and 25-24, but Moravian scored the final three points to win 27-25.
The Bulldogs dominated from there winning set three (25-19) and four (25-17). In the fifth set and the score 12-11, DSU scored the final three points on a Greyhound service error and two Moravian hitting errors to close out the match.

Joy Kindall had 11 kills and three blocks, hitting .429. First-yearÂ
Haylee Arnold had 10 kills, hitting .241, and sophomoreÂ
Allison Reimer finished with 10 kills and 12 digs.

Ashlyn Dinan (25 assists, 17 digs) andÂ
Veda Doxzen (24 assists, 8 digs) also played well.
DSU is back in action next Wednesday when they host Arcadia University in the first MAC Freedom match of the season beginning at 7:00 pm.
