Smith Leads DeSales at Northampton Cup

Easton, PA (September 23, 2025) - First-year Matthew Smith shot a team-low 79 leading the DeSales University golf team to a 14th place finish at The Northampton Cup on Monday afternoon.

Smith finished T-25th individually with his 7-over 79, making two birdies on 11 and 18.

Senior Brandon Fox finished with an 86, making birdie on #16, and junior Paul Hornberger finished with an 88, birdieing #18.

Junior Quincy Brunner and first-year Anthony Suffness each had 91's to round out the Bulldogs lineup.

DSU is back in action tomorrow competing in the Makuvek Cup at Steel Club.
