Center Valley, PA (September 27, 2025) - The DeSales University women's soccer team got three goals and an assist from its bench leading the Bulldogs to a 3-1 win over Immaculata University on homecoming Saturday afternoon.

The Basics

• Final Score: DeSales - 3, Immaculata - 1
• Records: DeSales (2-4-2 overall); Immaculata (1-5-1 overall)
• This was DSU's fifth straight win over the Mighty Macs moving to 9-2-2 in the all-time series.

How it Happened

• Immaculata took a 1-0 lead when Sam Terry scored on a free kick from about 30 yards out in the 27th minute.
• DSU tied the game late in the first-half when first-year Izzy Schmidt scored her first collegiate goal, looping a rebound over the Mighty Macs GK's head.
• The game remained tied into the 70th minute when first-year Kendall Kardon scored on a blast into the far upper 90 for her first collegiate goal.
• The Bulldogs got an insurance goal in the 85th minute as junior Kayla Heron scored on an assist from sophomore Sarah Campbell.

Top Bulldog Performers

• All three goals were the first of the season for the Bulldogs goal scorers.
• Junior Kayla Kinniry also had an assist on the first DSU goal.
• Sophomores Campbell Pacheco and Saige Santa Cruz each had one save in the win.

For the Foes

•  Emily Guthier had 11 saves for the Mighty Macs.
