CENTER VALLEY, PA (Sept. 3, 2025) -- The DeSales University Bulldogs suffered their first loss this afternoon falling to Stockton University 3-0 in nonconference action.  

The Basics  

• Final Score: Stockton University 3, DeSales University 0  

• Records: DeSales 1-1-0, Stockton University (2-1-0) 

How it Happened  

• DeSales had a large defensive presence to start the game, keeping it an even 0-0 in the first half. The game remained scoreless until late into the second half when Stockton struck first.  

• Stockton struck in the 74th minute, sneaking the goal in after lots of action and three saves by the Bulldogs in front of the net.  

• DeSales did what they could to come back, but the Ospreys sealed the score with a second goal in the 81st minute and their third goal in the 84th minute.  

Top Bulldog Performers  

• Senior Joseph Reteneller played a full 90 minutes for the Bulldogs and had an impressive showing on defense, pushing the defense to keep the score even.  

• Sophomore goalkeeper, Jimmy Shensky had six saves for the Bulldogs. 

For the Foes 

• Aiden Hoenish tallied one goal and one assist for the Ospreys.
