Women's Basketball Wins Battle of Unbeatens with 46-33 Win at Lebanon Valley

Annville, PA (January 14, 2026) - The DeSales University women's basketball team stayed unbeaten in MAC Freedom play with a dominating defensive performance in a 46-33 win on the road at Lebanon Valley College on Wednesday evening.

The Basics

  • Records: DeSales (9-5, 3-0 MAC Freedom); Lebanon Valley (11-3, 2-1 MAC Freedom)
  • The Bulldogs snap LVC's 10-game winning streak and are now the lone unbeaten in the MAC Freedom thru three games.
  • DSU wins its second straight over the Flying Dutchmen to improve to 11-3 in the all-time series.
How it Happened
  • DeSales got off to a quick start opening up an 11-4 lead over the first seven minutes of the game.
  • LVC cut that margin down to three at the end of the first quarter but DSU scored the first six points of the second quarter to lead by nine, including five points from senior Mikaili Donmoyer.
  • The Flying Dutchmen finished the half on an 8-1 run to get within one (18-17) at the break.
  • Leb. Val opened the second-half with a three to take its first lead but the Bulldogs scored the next nine points to lead 27-20.
  • Leading by five with 4:20 left in the third quarter, DeSales held LVC scoreless the rest of the quarter and scored six points of its own to claim a 33-22 lead entering the fourth quarter.
  • The lead grewo to 13 early in the quarter and never fell below seven as the Bulldogs iced the victory from the line late to stay unbeaten in conference play.

  • Donmoyer led all scorers with 14 points, hitting 2 3's.
  • Sophomore Aubrey Pollard had nine points and seven boards.
  • Senior Sammi White was tremendous pulling down 12 rebounds and blocking four shots.
  • Sophomore Marissa LaVerghetta added seven tallies and nine boards.
For the Foes
  • Kailey Eckhart had 12 points and seven boards.
  • Brielle Reidinger finished with nine points and eight rebounds.

  • DeSales took 20 more shots than LVC thanks to forcing 27 Flying Dutchmen turnovers.
