Center Valley, PA (January 31, 2026) - The DeSales University men's basketball team erased a five-point deficit with 20 seconds left in regulation to force overtime and completed the season sweep of Delaware Valley University outscoring the Aggies, 14-6, in the extra period to win 77-69 in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon in Billera Hall.

- DSU sweeps the season, with both wins coming in OT, to improve to 56-24 all-time vs. the Aggies in the all-time series.
- The Bulldogs are now forged in a four-way tie for the top spot in the MAC Freedom w/Stevens, Arcadia, and Misericordia with six games left in the regular season.
How it Happened
- Delaware Valley never trailed in this one during regulation opening up a 9-2 lead over the first two minutes of the game.
- DeSales cut the margin down to two points at the 10-minute mark but a quick 9-0 Aggie run gave DVU a 22-11 lead.
- DSU scored nine straight to get within two points but the Aggies increased its margin to eight by the halftime break.
- The lead grew back to 11 early in the second-half before eight straight points from DeSales made it a three-point game with 12:23 left.
- It was a seven-point game with 2:26 left when sophomore Jayden Thomas scored to make it a five point game with 2:04 left.
- After a defensive stop, sophomore Emanuel Domingo made 1-of-2 free throws and after earning the offensive rebound on the second, sophomore Luke Keppel made 1-of-2 to make it a three-point game with 1:12 left.
- The Bulldogs got another steal but this time Keppel missed both freebies but the Aggies missed the front end of a 1-and-1 and DSU had a chance to tie but a three from first-year Theo Gladue was off the mark.
- Delaware Valley made two free throws with 20 ticks left to make it a five-point game.
- Out of timeouts, the Bulldogs raced down the court and Keppel hit a quick 3 to make it 63-61 with 10 seconds left.
- Forced to foul, DSU sent the Aggies to the line where they missed both free throws.
- Still out of timeouts, the Bulldogs gathered the rebound, raced down the court and found senior Ryan Glassmacher in the lane, who hit a short high-arcing hook shot as time expired to force overtime and give DSU its first tie of the game as the buzzer sounded.
- The two teams traded baskets to start the extra period and after two free throws from Thomas, the Bulldogs led by one (68-67) with 2:59 to go.
- Thomas got a steal and a dunk on the next possession to give DSU its largest lead of the game (70-67).
- Two Aggie freebies made it a one-point game but a dunk on the other end from Domingo started a 7-0 run to end the game as the Bulldogs escaped with the win and the season sweep.
Top Bulldog Performers
- Thomas continued dominance in MAC Freedom play totaling his second double-double of the year with 28 points and 10 assists, falling two rebounds shy of second triple-double of the season.
- Keppel added 15 points, pulling down six rebounds and tallying five steals.
- Domingo came off the bench to total 12 points and six rebounds.
- Glassmacher took just one shot, but it was a big one to force OT, and added nine rebounds.
For the Foes
- Jeremiah Lee and Mike Herrin each had 18 points to lead the Aggies.
- Antonio Redding finished with 12 points.
Inside the Box Score
- DeSales dominated the glass, out-rebounding the Aggies, 41-29.
- DSU shot 48.1 percent from the field, 61.5 percent in the second-half and in overtime.
