ANNVILLE, Pa (Feb. 10, 2026) -- Sophomores Kay Wiscount and Jayden Thomas were each honored as the MAC Players of the Week for women's track and field and men's basketball, respectively, as announced by the conference office Tuesday morning.  

Wiscount won the 800 meters at the Blue and White Invitational with a time of 2:17.98 - the fastest in the MAC this season. The performance qualified her for AARTFC and ranks among the top times in program history.  

Thomas, being named MAC Freedom Player of the Week for the sixth time this season, led DeSales to a pair of road victories while helping the Bulldogs clinch a spot in the MAC Freedom postseason. The sophomore averaged 29.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 7.5 assists per game, beginning the week with 25 points and nine assists at Lebanon Valley before erupting for 33 points, eight rebounds and six assists at FDU-Florham. Thomas shot 50 percent from three-point rage across the two wins.
