Four Field Hockey Players Named NFHCA Scholars of Distinction

Colorado Springs, CO (February 13, 2026) - Sophomores Abigail Antipas and Sierra Margut along with seniors Meghan Dahl and Morgan Benner were each honored on Friday morning being named NFHCA Scholars of Distinction as announced by the organization.

The NFHCA proudly honors more than 543 outstanding undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved recognition as 2025 Division III Scholars of Distinction. This program acknowledges exceptional undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches.

Dahl, a nursing major, has a 3.93 cumulative GPA, while Benner, an early childhood education major, has a 3.91 cumulative GPA.  Dahl has earned this honor all four years of her career, while Benner is honored for the second straight year.

Antipas, a criminal justice major, has a 3.94 cumulative GPA and is honored for the first time in her career, while Margut earns the honor for the second time as a medical studies major with a 3.94 cumulative GPA.

DeSales has now had 22 players earn this honor since the 2014 season.
