Academic All-District Women's At-Large 2025-2026

Six Bulldogs Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

Center Valley, PA (June 16, 2026) – Six student-athletes representing the DeSales University field hockey and women's lacrosse teams were honored on Tuesday afternoon being named to the CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team as announced by the College Sports Communicators.

Eligible nominees must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games, must be a sophomore or higher, and must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. The at-large team is made up of student-athletes across 15 sports including field hockey, lacrosse, and golf sponsored at DeSales.  Each school can nominate a maximum of six student-athletes per gender.

Among the honorees for the Bulldogs were sophomore Abigail Antipas, senior Brynn Balliet, and senior Morgan Benner from the field hockey team along with seniors Hailey LinebaughDanielle Sieja, and Bridey Lawler of the women's lacrosse team. Linebaugh earns the honor for the third consecutive season, while Lawler and Sieja are honored for the second straight year. Benner also earns the honor for the second time in field hockey, while Balliet and Antipas earn the honor for the first time in their careers.

Antipas, a criminal justice major, was named to the All-MAC Freedom Second-Team this past season. She started all 19 games for the Bulldogs totaling two goals and an assist for five points.

Benner, an early childhood education major, was named to the All-MAC Freedom First-Team, NFHCA All-Region Second-Team, Academic All-MAC Team, and All-ECAC First-Team. She also started all 19 games totaling five goals and an assist for 11 points, adding two defensive saves.

Balliet, a healthcare administration major, finished the season as DSU's leading scorer with 10 goals and five assists for 25 points, starting all 19 games.

Linebaugh, a nursing major, started all 19 games for the Bulldogs leading the team with 44 assists and ranking fifth on the team in scoring with 14 goals and 44 assists for 58 points.

Lawler, a pharmaceutical marketing major, also started all 19 games for DeSales ranking fourth on the team in scoring with 60 goals and nine assists for 69 points.

Sieja, a biology major, earned All-MAC Freedom Second-Team honors this past season. She finished the year with 11 goals and seven assists for 18 points. Sieja added 36 ground balls, 17 draw controls, and was second on the team with 31 caused turnovers.
