Harrisonburg, VA (February 14, 2026) - The DeSales University baseball team dropped both ends of a doubleheader with Bridgewater College on Saturday afternoon finishing up a three-game trip down south this weekend.

Game One (L/6-10)
DeSales trailed 3-0 early before getting a run back on a single from senior Owen Fischl in the top of the fourth inning. Trailing 4-1 in the fifth senior Bobby Dingell and junior Owen Yoder knocked in runs to get the Bulldogs within a run (4-3).

Bridgewater answered with three runs in the fifth to claim a 7-3 lead. DSU refused to go away as sophomore Jacob Rivera, Dingell, and Fischl each had RBIs in the sixth to get back within a run (7-6).

The Eagles got a bases clearing triple in the sixth to reclaim a four run lead as that stood as the final score.
