Rivera, Thomas, Signorella, Costa and Trainor named MAC Players of the Week

ANNVILLE, Pa (Feb. 17, 2026) -- Sophomore Jacob Rivera, and Jayden Thomas, junior Brooke Signorella, and first-years Olivia Costa, and Larkin Trainor were all named MAC players of the week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning.  

Rivera, earning MAC Freedom baseball player of the week, closed out opening weekend hitting .636 with seven hits, four doubles, two RBIs, and two runs scored in a three-game series at Bridgewater, Virgina.  

Thomas was named MAC Freedom basketball player of the week for the seventh time this season. The sophomore averaged 29.5 points, 6 rebounds, and 7.5 assists in two games. He scored 33 points with nine assists against Arcadia and followed with 26 points in a win over Stevens. Thomas shot 62.5 percent from the field and 89.5 percent from the line.  

Signorella was named MAC field athlete of the week, she tied the school record in the triple jump with an 11.31m mark at Cornell. The jump leads the MAC this season and qualifies her for both the MAC and AARTFC Championships.  

Costa was named MAC Freedom offensive player of the week for women's lacrosse. She had a strong start to her career scoring four goals in her first career game in DeSales 9-5 win over McDaniel College on Friday. She added two ground balls in the win.  

Trainor was named MAC Freedom defensive player of the week for women's lacrosse. Trainor had a strong start to her career, making 10 saves and allowing just five goals in the Bulldogs 9-5 victory over McDaniel College.
