Women's Basketball Clinches Top Seed with 76-45 Win over King's

Center Valley, PA (February 18, 2026) - The DeSales University women's basketball team clinched the top seed in next week's MAC Freedom postseason tournament after a 76-45 win over King's College on Wednesday evening in Billera Hall.

  • DeSales took a 7-2 lead in this one and extended a five-point lead to 14 with a 13-4 run to end the first quarter.
  • The second quarter saw the two defenses hold each other to just nine points as the Bulldogs took that same 14 point lead into the halftime locker room.
  • The Bulldogs dominated the third quarter pushing its lead up to 20 points early in the quarter and led by as many as 26 points before taking a 55-31 lead after 30 minutes of play.
  • The lead peaked 33 points in the fourth before the final tally was posted.

  • Senior Lindsay Bednarek led all scorers with 22 points, adding four assists and three steals.
  • Senior Mikaili Donmoyer had her first career double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, adding four assists.
  • Sophomore Kayla Ishigami added 10 points and four steals.
  • Senior Sammi White finished with six points, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots.
