Center Valley, PA (February 5, 2026) - The DeSales University men's lacrosse team dropped its 2026 opener, 16-8, to Eastern University on a chilly Thursday afternoon.

How it Happened

• Eastern got out to a quick start in this one scoring the game's first four goals and led 5-1 after one quarter of play.
• DSU scored first to open the second quarter before the Eagles scored the final three goals of the second quarter to lead 8-2 into the halftime locker rooms.
• The Bulldogs scored three of the first four goals in the second-half to pull within four (9-5).
• EU got a goal with one second left in the third quarter and scored the first tally of the fourth quarter to take an 11-5 lead and never looked back from there.
