Center Valley, PA (March 14, 2026) - The DeSales University softball team dropped both ends of a MAC Freedom doubleheader to Stevens in the first home games of the season on Saturday afternoon.
Game One (L/1-9)
Stevens got off to a quick start with four runs in the first inning and broke it open in the third with four more runs to take an 8-1 lead. The Ducks got their last run in the fifth to win 9-1 in game one.

Paige Hromin had DSU's two hits in the loss.
Game Two (L/4-11)
DeSales took a 2-0 lead in this one on a two-RBI single from seniorÂ
Ava Goodman in the bottom of the second inning.
Stevens tied the game with two runs in the third and the Ducks scored twice in the fourth to take a 4-2 lead. Stevens scored six times in the sixth to break it open, never looking back from there for an 11-4 win.

Morgan Benner each had two hits in game two.
The Bulldogs are scheduled to return to action on Tuesday traveling to Muhlenberg College for a non-conference doubleheader beginning at 3:00 pm.
