Wilkes-Barre, PA (March 22, 2026) - The DeSales University baseball team completed its three-game sweep of King's College after an 18-5 win over the Monarchs on Sunday afternoon.
DeSales scored in each of the first five innings in this one opening up a 15-4 lead thru five innings and never looked back.
Tied at two after one inning the Bulldogs got two bases loaded hit by pitches, a bases loaded walk, and a two-RBI single from sophomoreÂ
Jacob Rivera to put up five runs in the second inning.
RIvera finished the game 3-for-4 with three RBIs, first-yearÂ
Kevin Brace was 2-for-5 with two RBIs, first-yearÂ
Dominic Berretta had two hits and scored twice, and first-yearÂ
Alex Bersani was 2-for-3 with three runs scored and two RBIs.

Zach Rothermel earned the win with three innings of strong relief allowing one earned run and striking out two.
DSU is back in action tomorrow when they finish up its three-game slate with Stevens at Weiland Park with first pitch set for 4:00 pm.
