Haverford, PA (March 26, 2026) - Junior
Abigayle Freideman hit a two-run double in the sixth inning of game two leading the DeSales University softball team to a doubleheader split at Haverford College on Thursday afternoon.
Game One (L/0-7)
Haverford took a 2-0 lead in the first inning and extended it to 3-0 in the third. The Fords broke it open with four runs in the fifth inning to earn the game one win.
DSU had just two hits in game one coming from Freideman and senior
Shana Gugliandolo.
Game Two (W/2-0)
This game was scoreless into the sixth inning when Freideman hit a two-out, two-RBI double giving the Bulldogs a 2-0 lead.

Jackie Capers and first-year
Brianna Bauscher did the rest as Capers pitched 5 1/3 scoreless allowing six hits and striking out one. Bauscher earned a save with 1 2/3 scoreless allowing just two hits.

Gianna Angermeier each had two hits in the game two win.
The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday when they travel to Delaware Valley University for another MAC Freedom doubleheader beginning at 1:00 pm.
