Center Valley, PA (March 31, 2026) - Senior
JT Anderosky came up a double shy of hitting for the cycle leading the DeSales University baseball team past William Paterson University, 9-4, in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.
Trailing 2-0 into the bottom of the first inning, Anderosky led off for the Bulldogs with a triple to right field and came around to score on an RBI groundout from graduate student
Owen Fischl one batter later.
Anderosky then tied the game at two with a solo home run in the third inning.
DSU took a 4-2 lead in the fourth on a two-RBI triple from senior
John Rorick and led 6-2 after five innings following an RBI double from Fischl and RBI single from senior
Bobby DIngell.
Paterson made it 6-4 with runs in the sixth and seventh innings but the Bulldogs tacked on three more in the seventh thanks in part to a two-RBI double from first-year
Kevin Brace.
Five Bulldogs pitchers combined to allow just four runs over nine innings, striking out eight.
Anderosky had two singles (one in the fifth and one in the eighth) to round out his day a double shy of the cycle. He also scored three runs and had a stolen base.
Junior
Owen Yoder and Rorick each had two hits.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Thursday taking on Arcadia University in a MAC Freedom game beginning at 3:30 pm.
