ANNVILLE, PA (March 31, 2026) - First year Patrick Buonacquista and senior Taylor Wikert were named men's tennis MAC Freedom player of the week and men's lacrosse MAC Freedom defensive player of the week respectively, as named by the conference office on Tuesday morning.
Buonacquista won both No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles in the team's only match against Eastern University. He partnered with Jatin Prabhakar for a 6-2 doubles win before taking his singles match 6-2, 6-3.
Wikert was named MAC Freedom defensive player of the week for the second week in a row. He totaled four cause turnovers and six ground balls to help the Bulldogs defeat Widener 13-7. He led a defensive unit that forced 21 turnovers and allowed only seven goals in the contest.
