The DeSales University women's lacrosse team topped Goucher College, 19-6, on Saturday afternoon. Senior,
Bridey Lawler added seven of the goals, and
Hailey Linebaugh contributed seven assists on the afternoon.

- This is the fourth meeting between the Gophers and the Bulldogs, DeSales has won all four games.
How it Happened
- DeSales opened the first quarter with ten goals, keeping Goucher scoreless all throughout the first quarter.
- Senior, Lawler scored the first goal of the game, less than one minute in when Linebaugh passed the ball from behind the net to Lawler who was able to sneak the ball in on the left side.
- Lawler then scored five more times, finishing the first with six. Other contributors to the first include two goals from junior, Sophia Campola, and one from first-year Olivia Costa. The Bulldogs finished the first quarter, 10-0.
- In the second, Goucher struck early but, Costa added a second goal on a free position shot at the start of the half.
- First-year Marissa Kozak scored her first and second career points in the first and second quarter, bringing the score to 12-2 going into the half.
- Goucher came out of the half strong, with two goals and holding off the Bulldogs offense for the beginning of the third quarter.
- Halfway through the third, Costa continued to add to her tally, with three goals, back-to-back-to-back, assisted by Emily Mulroony, Kozak and Linebaugh.
- An additional unassisted goal by Mulroony at the end of the third brought the score to 16-4 heading into the final quarter of play.
- 30 seconds into the fourth quarter, Linebaugh passed the ball from the outside of the net to Lawler who was able to add to her tally for the afternoon, ending the day with seven goals.
- Campola and Mulroony contributed two more goals apiece for the Bulldogs bringing the final score of the game 19-6.

- Senior, Lawler added seven goals, and three ground balls onto the afternoon for the Bulldogs.
- First-year Mulroony, lead the Bulldogs in draw controls with eight, and finished the game with two goals and two assists for four points.
- First-year goalkeeper Larkin Trainor ended the game with a .500 save percentage.
- Sophomore Cami Beetel had a strong defensive presence with two ground balls and three cause turnovers.
- Linebaugh finished the game with seven assists, five taking place in the first quarter.
