CENTER VALLEY, PA (April 1, 2026) -- The DeSales University men's lacrosse team downed Lebanon Valley College, 12-8, in the first MAC Freedom game of the season. Senior, Jake Hurd contributed four goals and one assist to the victory Wednesday evening.

DeSales was the first on the board with two unassisted goals, from Seniors, Hurd and Mark Winkler Jr. Lebanon Valley responded with two goals of their own to bring the score 2-2 half-way through the first.

DeSales did not allow the tie during the first to last, with an additional three goals in the quarter two from first-year Colin Getz, assisted by Seth Young and Jason Reilly, and a second goal from Hurd. Giving the Bulldogs the 5-2 led to start the second quarter.

Lebanon Valley struck back with a three-goal scoring streak, Hurd responded with another assisted by Young, with just 30 seconds on the clock, boosting the Bulldogs to 6-5 going into the half.
