Baseball Sweeps DH and Series with Misericordia

Center Valley, PA (Aptil 11, 2026) - The DeSales University baseball team swept a doubleheader on Saturday afternoon with Misericordia to complete a three-game sweep of the Cougars over the weekend.

The sweep moves the Bulldogs into sole possession of first place in the MAC Freedom with two series left in the regular season.

Game One (W/6-2)
This game was scoreless entering the fourth inning when the Cougars scored once in the fourth to take a 1-0 lead.

The Bulldogs took control in the fifth scoring four times including a two-RBI triple from sophomore Jacob Rivera to lead 4-1.

DSU added two more in the sixth on a bases loaded hit by pitch and sacrifice fly from first-year Kevin Brace and held on for the 6-2 win after MU added a run in the seventh.

Senior Kyle Hart earned the win with a scoreless inning of relief.  Sophomore Kevin Eden earned a saved pitching the final 1 1/3 innings.
