Allentown, PA (April 15, 2026) - The DeSales University baseball team ran its win streak to five straight scoring a season-high 22 runs in a 22-7 win over local rival Muhlenberg College in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.

The Bulldogs left no doubt in this one scoring nine times in the first inning and six times in the second inning to lead 15-1 early.

The Mules scored six straight runs in the second and third innings to get within 15-7 before DeSales finished the game with seven unanswered runs to post the final tally.

12 different players had hits in the 17-hit attack.  DSU was hit by a pitch nine times, one shy of the team record of 10 that was ironically also in a game vs. Muhlenberg College.

Graduate student Owen Fischl was 2-for-2 with two runs scored and three RBIs, first-year Kevin Brace was 3-for-5 with two runs scored and two RBIs.  Senior Shane Anhalt had two hits, two runs, and two RBIs off the bench and first-year Alex Bersani came off the bench to go 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBIs.

Sophomore Aaron Schneider walked three times and scored twice and first-year Colin Peacock had three RBIs.

Sophomore Will Haman earned the win with two scoreless innings of relief.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Friday when they travel to FDU-Florham for the first of three games with FDU-Florham this weekend.
