Anderosky Ties Single-Game Hits Record in 19-7 Win at FDU-Florham

Center Valley, PA (April 17, 2026) - Senior JT Anderosky went 6-for-6 to tie the single-game record for hits leading the DeSales University baseball team to a 19-7 win over FDU-Florham in the first of three games with the Devils on Friday afternoon.

Anderosky becomes the third player in team history with six hits in a game, tying Brett Vargo and Charles Dennis, with the most hits in a single-game in team history.

Sophomore Jacob Rivera gave DSU a 1-0 lead with an RBI single in the first inning scoring Anderosky and Anderosky doubled home junior Owen Yoder in the second inning to make it 2-0.

DSU broke the game open in the third scoring eight times, including a two-run double from Anderosky in the inning.

The lead swelled to 14-3 after a two-run home run from first-year Kevin Brace in the fourth before the final margin was posted.

Anderosky was once again one hit shy, this time a home run, of hitting for the cycle, the third time this season he was one hit shy as he finished 6-for-6 with four runs scored and five RBIs.

Graduate student Owen Fischl and Brace each had three RBIs. Senior John Rorick finished 2-for-3 with three runs scored.

Senior Mike Hooker earned the win pitching five innings allowing four runs and striking out three.

The Bulldogs will wrap-up the series tomorrow with two games at Weiland Park beginning at Noon.
