Women's Lacrosse Blanks Delaware Valley, 20-0

DOYLESTOWN, PA (April 15, 2026) -- The DeSales University women's lacrosse team shutout the Delaware Valley University Aggies, 20-0 in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday afternoon. Senior defender, Emma Williamson led the defense, with seven ground balls and four cause turnovers on the match up.  

The Basics  

  • Final Score: DeSales – 20, Delaware Valley – 0 

  • Records: DeSales (10-4 overall, 4-0 MAC Freedom), Delaware Valley University (4-10 overall, 0-4 MAC Freedom) 

  • This is the Bulldogs third ever shut out in team history, with the second happening earlier this season versus King's College (Pa.).  

  • DeSales has dominated in their match up over the Aggies, coming out on top in the last eight games.  

How it Happened 

  • First-year Olivia Costa scored the first goal of the second quarter, five minutes in, assisted by Mulroony.  

  • 19 seconds after Costa's goal, Lawler found the back of the net, adding another to the board for the Bulldogs.  

  • Marissa Kozak, Campola, and Cami Beetel all contributed goals in the second. The final of the half was a free-position goal scored by first year Brynn Nemeth, ending the second quarter, 14-0.  

  • Four minutes into the third, Costa added another for the night and two minutes later, Kozak tallied a second for the night.  

  • The last goal of the third was scored by sophomore defender, Madison Felix, ending the quarter 17-0.  

  • DeSales defense continued to hold strong in the fourth, with four cause turnovers on the quarter, two from first-year defender Arianna Renninger.  

  • Three final goals from Campola, Faith Russo and Felix finished up the game for the Bulldogs, ending 20-0.  

Top Bulldog Performers  

  • Williamson, led the team in ground balls (7) and cause turnovers (4), she also contributed one draw control on the afternoon.  

  • Leading the team in points, was senior DiGuglielmo, who tallied one goal and four assists for five points. Right behind her, Lawler, who added four goals for four points on the afternoon.  

  • First-year Kozak ended the night with two goals, and one assist for three points, she also added four ground balls and one cause turnover for DSU.  

For the Foes  

  • Piper Jones led the Aggies in draw controls, contributing three on the afternoon, and adding four ground balls for Delaware Valley.  

  • Charley Lengel-Kramer contributed three ground balls on the afternoon for the Aggies.  

Inside the Box Score  

  • DeSales had a very successful afternoon on the clear, going 15-for-16 to Delaware Valley University's 15-for-20.  

  • The Bulldogs took the majority on ground balls (39-17) and cause turnovers (13-8) on the match up. 

Up Next  

  • DeSales University takes on the Misericordia University Cougars on Sunday in Center Valley, in MAC Freedom action. The Bulldogs will be taking time after the game on Saturday to recognize the eight seniors, who have left a lasting impression on the program.
