Owen Fischl knocked in five runs leading the DeSales University baseball team past local rival Moravian University, 14-7, in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon.
The win gives DSU 25 wins marking the first time since the 2018 season the Bulldogs have won 25+ games.
Moravian took a 4-0 lead in this one with four runs in the top of the first inning.
DeSales responded with a run in the first and second inning to make it 4-2 and tied the game at four with two runs in the third inning including an RBI double from sophomore
Jacob Rivera.
The Bulldogs broke the game open with six runs in the fourth that included a two-run double from junior
Owen Yoder.
Fischl added a solo home run in the fifth and a two-run double in the eighth to post the final margin.
Senior
Kyle Hart earned his fourth win of the season with 1 2/3 scoreless innings of relief.
Fischl finished 2-for-4 with five RBIs and two runs scored. Senior
JT Anderosky had two more hits and junior
Jack Sague scored three times and had two RBIs.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Friday when they host Lebanon Valley College in MAC Freedom action beginning at 3:30 pm.
