Women's Lacrosse Dominates King's College (Pa.), Shutting Them Out, 20-0

CENTER VALLEY, PA (April 8, 2026) -- The DeSales University women's lacrosse team defeated the King's College (Pa.) Monarchs, 20-0. First-year attack, Olivia Costa contributed six of the teams' goals on the evening.  

The Basics  

  • Final Score: DeSales – 20, King's College (Pa.) - 0  

  • Records: DeSales (8-4 overall, 2-0 MAC Freedom), King's College (Pa.) (2-8 overall, 0-2 MAC Freedom) 

  • The Bulldogs have dominated against the Monarchs, coming out on top in the last five match ups.  

How it Happened 

  • DeSales first goal of the evening happened two minutes into the game, coming from senior Danielle Sieja, assisted by senior Bridey Lawler.  

  • Coming right off the draw control, 26 seconds after the first goal, Costa scored her first of the evening, assisted by senior Christina DiGuglielmo.  

  • Four minutes into the second quarter, Lawler added another to the board, assisted by Linebaugh, who then added another one to the board off of a free position shot.  

  • DeSales added one more goal by Costa, assisted by Linebaugh on the second quarter, giving the Bulldogs the 14-0 advantage over the Monarchs going into the half.  

  • First-year defender, Grace Visscher, scored her first career goal halfway through the third quarter, assisted by Lawler.  

  • Costa added two more to the quarter, ending the third 17-0.  

  • Defender Cami Beetel, and attack Brynn Nemeth, both added goals to the board for the Bulldogs off of free-position shots.  

  •  Sophomore Amber Zimmerman added the last goal for the Bulldogs, assisted by Linebaugh, ending the game 20-0.  

Top Bulldog Performers 

  • Lawler led the team in points with seven, from four goals and three assists. She also added one cause turnover, two ground balls and two draw controls to the evening.  

  • Mulroony led the team in draw controls with four, she also contributed two goals and one assist for three points.  

  • First-year Raeleigh Dippel added four ground balls on the evening.  

For the Foes  

  • Chelsea Lee ended the evening with two draw controls and one cause turnover.  

  • Sarah Schultz led the team in cause turnovers with seven, she also added two draw controls to the evening.  

Inside the Box Score  

  • DeSales came out on top for the draw controls, going 14-for-8.  

  • The Bulldogs also took the majority on cause turnovers and ground balls, 15-3 and 23-5, respectively.

  • The Bulldogs take on the Arcadia University Knights, at home on Saturday afternoon.
