Center Valley, PA (May 11, 2026) - The DeSales University baseball team took home lots of hardware on Monday morning sweeping all the Player and Coach of the Year awards and placed nine players on the All-Conference team as voted on by the eight MAC Freedom coaches and as announced by the conference office on Monday morning.

JT Anderosky was named both the MAC Freedom Player of the Year and the MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Year. SeniorÂ
Mike Hooker was named the MAC Freedom Pitcher of the Year and first-yearÂ
Kevin Brace was honored as the MAC Freedom Co-Rookie of the Year. Head coach
 Bryan Torresani and his staff were named the Coaching Staff of the Year.
Anderosky and Hooker were joined on the First-Team by sophomoreÂ
Jacob Rivera and graduate studentÂ
Owen Fischl. Brace was honored on the Second-Team and joined by sophomoreÂ
Joe Ficoturo, juniorÂ
Alex Crudder, and fellow first-yearÂ
Dominic Berretta.

John Rorick was honored earning Honorable-Mention All-Conference honors.
Torresani and his staff earn Coach of the Year honors having led DSU to its ninth MAC Freedom Conference title this past weekend, earning the automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. DeSales' final NPI is 20 putting them in position to potentially earn a first weekend host in the NCAA Tournament announced today at Noon. DeSales has won 33 games thus far, the second most in program history.
Anderosky becomes the seventh Bulldog to win Player of the Year honors and the first to win Defensive Player of the Year honors in the first year for the award. He earns First-Team honors for the second time and is All-Conference for the third time after earning Second-Team honors last season. Anderosky has had a historic season with a school-record tying 76 hits and 61 runs scored, just two shy of tying the single-season record. He is batting .415 with a team-high 18 doubles and 34 RBIs, while also leading the team with 34 stolen bases, which is tied for the second most in a season. Defensively he has not made an error in 130 chances and has contributed five outfield assists this season.
Hooker earns All-Conference honors for the third time in his career and the first time on the First-Team. He is the ninth Bulldog to take home Pitcher of the Year honors. Hooker is 8-1 this season with a 3.81 ERA in 75 2/3 innings pitched. He has struck out 62 batters and walked just 10. Hooker's eight wins are tied for the second most in a single-season and has tied the single-season record making 13 starts.
Fischl earns All-Conference honors for the second straight season after earning Honorable-Mention honors last year. He is .421 with 59 hits and 56 runs scored. Fischl has a team-high seven home runs and a team leading 59 RBIs, one RBI shy of tying the single-season record. He has also contributed 14 doubles and walked 35 times for a ..560 on-base percentage.
Rivera earns All-Conference honors for the second time after taking home Second-Team honors and Rookie of the Year honors last season. He was just recently named the MAC Freedom Postseason Tournament Most Valuable Player. Rivera is batting .419 with 62 hits, 44 runs scored, 14 doubles, three triples, six home runs, and 446 RBIs this season. He has a .527 on-base percentage and stolen 15 bases, second most on the team.
Brace becomes the 13th Bulldog to win Rookie of the Year honors and marks the fourth straight year DeSales has taken home the award. .339 with 57 hits, 44 runs scored, 14 doubles, two home runs and 43 RBIs. He also has 10 stolen bases.
Ficoturo earns All-Conference honors for the first time. He enters the NCAA Tournament with a 4-1 record on the bump. Ficoturo has a 4.81 ERA in 43 innings, striking out 33.
Crudder earns All-Conference honors for the first time in his first season with the Bulldogs after transferring to DeSales this season. He is 2-1 with a team-high three saves and a 2.76 ERA in 29 1/3 innings pitched. Crudder has 37 K's.
Berretta is honored as the Second-Team catcher after batting .237 with eight doubles, three home runs, and 24 RBIs. He has a .990 fielding percentage behind the dish with just two errors and 11 assists.
Rorick rounds out the honorees earning All-Conference honors for the first time in his career. He has been just outstanding on defense this season not making an error and posting a 1.000 fielding percentage with 77 assists and 148 chances at second base. Rorick is also batting .289 with 33 hits, three triples and 24 RBIs.
