Seven Women's Lacrosse Players Named All-Conference; Trainor and Mulroony Earn GK and Rookie of the Year

Center Valley, PA (May 6, 2026) -- The DeSales University women's lacrosse team saw seven players earn All-MAC Freedom honors with first-years Larkin Trainor and Emily Mulroony highlighting the honorees taking home GK and Rookie of the Year honors as voted on by the eight MAC Freedom coaches and as announced by the conference office on Wednesday morning.

Among the honorees are four players (three first-year students) named to the First-Team including Olivia Costa, Mulroony, Trainor, and senior Emma Williamson.  Seniors Christina DiGuglielmo and Danielle Sieja along with sophomore Cami Beetel were each named to the Second-Team.

Mulroony becomes the first Bulldog to ever win MAC Freedom Rookie of the Year honors. She finished the year with 29 goals and 43 assists for 72 points, ranking second on the team in both assists and points. Mulroony led the team with 77 draw controls, the second most in a season at DeSales.

Trainor also becomes the first Bulldog to ever win GK of the Year honors. She finished her first year with a 10.79 goals against average, making 131 saves and recording a .428 save percentage. Trainor recorded the third most saves and the second best GAA in a season in team history.

Costa earns First-Team honors after an extraordinary first-year leading the team in scoring with 74 goals and three assists for 77 points. Her 73 goals shattered the school-record by 15 goals and her 77 points are the fourth most in a season in team history. She added 44 draw controls, second on the team.

Williamson also earns First-Team honors for the second straight season and takes home All-Conference honors for the fourth time after being named Second-Team her first two years. She finished the year with 12 goals and two assists for 14 points, adding 56 ground balls and 37 caused turnovers, which both ranked first on the team. Williamson also had 14 draw controls. Her 56 ground balls were the third most in a season and her 37 caused turnovers the fourth most in team history.

DiGuglielmo takes home Second-Team honors for the second straight season after totaling 29 goals and 43 assists for 72 points this season, ranking second on the team in both assists and points.

Sieja earns Second-Team honors after being named Honorable-Mention last season. She finished the year with 11 goals and seven assists for 18 points. Sieja ranked third on the team with 36 ground balls and second on the team with 31 caused turnovers.

Beetel rounds out the honorees earning Second-Team honors for the first time in her career. She totaled two goals and one assist for three points, while also ranking second on the team in both ground balls (39) and caused turnovers (31).
