Kansas City, MO (July 15, 2026) - Senior Will Meeker was honored on the NABC (National Association of Basketball Coaches) Honors Court for outstanding achievement in the classroom as announced by the organization last week.

Meeker earns the award for the first time as it honors junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2025-26 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.

"College basketball student-athletes do incredible things on the court, but their achievements in the classroom are equally worthy of celebration," said NABC Executive Director Craig Robinson. "Education is one of the NABC's core values, and the hundreds of programs and thousands of athletes represented on these awards reinforce the commitment to academic success that exists across all levels of our sport."
 
Over 2,300 players earned spots on the NABC Honors Court for 2025-26.

Meeker is a Mathematics major with a 3.63 cumulative GPA. Meeker appeared in all 26 games, making one start for the Bulldogs last season. He averaged 4.0 points and 1.9 rebounds per game, shooting 47.6 percent from the field.
