Center Valley, PA (September 19, 2027) - The DeSales University field hockey team fell to Dickinson College, 4-1, in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.

The Basics

  • This was the third career meeting between the two teams with the Red Devils taking all three.
How it Happened
  • After a scoreless first quarter, Dickinson got on the board 5:25 into the second quarter and led 1-0 at the half.
  • The Red Devils added two more goals in the third quarter and scored on a stroke in the fourth to take a 4-0 lead.
  • DSU got on the board late in the fourth quarter when junior Stephanie Pallante scored with 1:40 left in the game.

  • The goal was Pallante's first on the season.
  • Junior Abigail Antipas earned her first assist of the year on the goa.
  • Sophomore Lily Trocki made 12 saves in between the pipes.
  • Senior Alina Culver and junior Gianna Franceschino both had defensive saves in the loss.

  • Nicole Uebele had two goals to lead Dickinson.
