Center Valley, PA (September 19^th, 2026) - The DeSales University men's cross country team delivered a strong performance on their home course, finishing 2^nd out of seven teams at their annual home invite. In their first 8k race of the season, the Bulldogs impressed with all seven of their scoring runners finishing inside the top 20 overall.
 
Taking 2^nd place overall was senior Joey Wilson, crossing the finish line in 25:44.9. Fellow senior Jozef Callano followed in 5^th with a time of 26:13.0. First-year Manuel Filgaira made a strong 8k debut, placing 8^th in 26:45.2.
 
The next pack of Bulldogs crossed the line in 13^th, 14^th, and 15^th place respectively. Sophomore Alden Twist led the group, finishing in 27:01.9. Just four seconds behind was first-year Wilson Stansfield, making his 8k debut in 27:05.8. Closing out the pack was fellow first-year Michael Sinnes, also debuting his first college 8k, finishing in a time of 27:06.7.
 
Junior Bryce Phillips continued the Bulldogs' momentum, finishing 18^th overall in 27:31.1. Fellow junior James Viglianti followed in 22^nd with a time of 27:47.5. Taking 26^th place overall was sophomore Ryan Durkin, racing a final time of 27:53.5.
 
The final pack for DeSales' top 12 followed in 29^th, 30^th, and 31^st place. Sophomore Keegan Dube crossed the line in 28:18.8. Senior Andrew Sidorski finished in 28:23.6, and first-year Derek Fulmer made his 8k debut, closing out the group in a time of 28:30.4.
