Center Valley, PA (September 23, 2026) - The DeSales University volleyball team ran its win streak to 10 straight to start the season taking down FDU-Florham, 3-1, in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday evening.

The 10 straight wins to start the year mark the second longest win streak at the start of a season, just two shy of the 1992 season when the Bulldogs opened the year 12-0.

DSU shook off a slow start in the first set with a big run in the middle of the set to win 25-17 and cruised to a 2-0 lead after a 25-15 win in the second set.  The Bulldogs fell behind 18-11 in the third set but fought back to the score at 21 but the Devils scored four of the next five points to win 25-21.  The fourth set was tight throughout before DSU took a 23-20 lead late but FDU refused to go away tying the score at 23 and fought off a match point at 24-23 before back-to-back kills from junior Allison Reimer and senior Mackenzie Fox closed out the match, 26-24.

Reimer finished the match with 13 kills, hitting .343.  Sophomore Alexis Hoyer added 10 kills, hitting .300, and sophomore Haylee Arnold added eight kills, hitting .250.

Sophomore Samantha Buff finished with seven kills and three blocks and senior Jocelyn Castro had six blocks.  Fox also played well off the bench with seven kills, hitting .545.

Junior Kylie Campbell was outstanding on defense with 33 digs and junior Grace Pfaff added 11 digs.  Junior Ashlyn Dinan finished with 24 assists and two aces, while senior Bryanna Purisima totlaed 20 assists and seven digs.

DSU is back in action on Friday when they take on Widener University in the first match at the Swarthmore College Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
