Bethlehem, PA (September 4^th, 2026) - The DeSales  University men's cross country team opened their 2026 season at Lehigh University with a 6k race, rather than the seasons traditional 8k. The Bulldogs finished 7^th overall out of nine teams, edging out Muhlenberg and closing in on Rowan.
 
Leading the pack was senior Joey Wilson, who placed 15^th overall in 19:02.8. Fellow senior Jozef Callano followed in 43^rd, running 19:42.3. First-year Wilson Stansfield opened his first college race with an impressive showing, placing 63^rd in 20:14.5.
 
Sophomore Alden Twist finished in 71^st place, running 20:25.7. Right behind in 72^nd place was first-year Michael Sinnes who crossed the line in a time of 20:26.2. Junior James Viglianti finished in 20:35.5, placing 77^th overall. Sophomore Keegan Dube placed 86^th overall, closing out DSU's top 7 scorers, running 20:54.4.
