Williamsport, PA (September 4, 2026) -- The DeSales University men's soccer team suffered a 2-1 defeat at Penn College of Technology in non-conference action on Friday evening. 

The Basics

  • This was the first-ever meeting between the two teams.
How it Happened
  • After a scoreless first-half, Penn College got on the board in the 47th minute converting a PK to make it 1-0.
  • The Bulldogs battled back and tied the game when junior Mike McCurry scored off an assist from first-year Abu Barrie.
  • Penn College needed just 1:38 to regian the lead and held on for the rest of the game.
Top Bulldog Performers
  • It was McCurry's first goal of the season and Barrie's first assist.
  • Sophomore Colin Hojnowski made five saves for the Bulldogs.
For the Foes
  • Scott Goldfeder and Silas Miller scored PC's two goals.
