Women's Soccer Ends in 0-0 Draw Versus Elizabethtown

CENTER VALLEY, PA (Sept. 9, 2026) -- The DeSales University women's soccer team, tied the Elizabethtown College Blue Jays, 0-0, on Wednesday afternoon in non-conference action.  

The Basics  

  • Final Score – DeSales University: 0, Elizabethtown College: 0 

  • Records – DeSales: 1-1-1, Elizabethtown: 1-0-2 

  • This is the fifth meeting between the Bulldogs and the Blue Jays; DeSales currently sits 1-3-1 in this match up.  

How it Happened 

Both teams were very evenly matched, playing competitively on both sides of the ball. The Bulldogs had an excellent defensive performance, sending the Blue Jays to the other side of the field in many of the scoring opportunities that they had.  

Top Bulldog Performers  

  • Junior goalkeeper, Ava Kichline had quite the evening with seven saves for the Bulldogs. 

  • Sophomore forward, Emily Mulroony lead the team in shots (2) and shots on goal (1) for the afternoon.  

  • Senior defender Catherine Crampton had an incredibly strong defensive performance for the Bulldogs, ensuring that the ball stayed out of the back of the net for the Blue Jays.  

For the Foes  

  • Goalkeeper Ella Smith had two saves for the Blue Jays on the evening.  

  • Kirsten Navich led her team in shots (4) and shots on goal (2).
