Doylestown, PA (January 14, 2012) – Sophomore Mike Coleman scored a career-high 22 points and fellow sophomore Andrew Kohler also posted a career-high with 11 points leading the DeSales University men's basketball team to its fourth straight win, 64-58, in Freedom Conference action on Saturday afternoon.

Coleman did most of his damage at the line, hitting 11-of-13 from the charity stripe, and pulling down six boards.  Kohler had 11 points in just 14 minutes of action, going 3-for-4 from three-point land, and junior Brett Moyer added 11 points and nine boards.

Nathan Bollinger finished with a team-high 19 points for the Aggies and Jeremy Beckett had a double-double with 10 points, 11 boards, and added eight blocks in the loss.

The Bulldogs (8-6, 2-2 Freedom) controlled the first-half using a 12-0 run to take a nine-point lead, (20-11) with 9:01 left led by Coleman and Kohler scoring five points each.  DVC chipped away, tying the game at 30 before a jumper from senior Bob Zanneo gave DSU a two-point lead heading into the locker room.

It was back and forth over the first 11:20 with the score tied seven times before consecutive three's from Kohler gave the Bulldogs the lead for good, 53-47, with 6:58 left to play.  A four-point play from Bollinger with 33 seconds made it a two-point game, but a free throw from sophomore Paul Pammer and two more from Moyer with one second left sealed the win after a missed three from Jonathan Jernigan.

DeSales shook off a poor shooting afternoon, converting just 32.8 percent for the game, by taking care of the ball (committing just 12 turnovers) and hitting 81.5 percent (22-of-27) from the free throw line.  The Bulldogs also dominated the glass, out-rebounding the Aggies, 45-32.  DVC shot just 38.6 percent and was just 7-of-26 from three-point land in the loss.

The Bulldogs return to action on Wednesday, January 18th when they travel to Misericordia for a Freedom Conference doubleheader beginning at 8:00 pm.
