Bulldogs Fall to Clark, 12-2, in Final Game on Spring Trip

Clearwater, FL (March 9, 2012) – The DeSales University men's lacrosse team fell behind early and were never able to recover dropping its final game of a two-game trip down to Clearwater, FL on Friday afternoon, 12-2, to Clark University.

The Bulldogs (1-2) fell behind 8-0 at the half and were down 11-0 entering the fourth quarter before scoring twice in the fourth quarter to post the final 12-2 margin.

Scoring for the Bulldogs were junior Ben Krocheski and freshman Ryan Rowse who each tallied a goal and assist in the loss.  Junior Brennan Gmeiner had a team-best five ground balls and won 10-of-13 face-offs, while senior Brendan Guerrier added four ground balls.

Freshman Jake Ross had four saves and fellow freshman Dan O'Connell made seven saves in goal for DeSales.

DSU returns home and hosts SUNY-Cobleskill in the home opener on Wednesday, March 14th beginning at 4:00 pm.
