Center Valley, PA (May 3, 2016) – The DeSales University men's lacrosse team opens the 2016 MAC Freedom Tournament hosting Misericordia University in the semifinals Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm.
The Bulldogs are making their fourth appearance in the MAC Freedom postseason and their first since 2014 when they advanced to the MAC Freedom title game with an epic four overtime win over King's College in the semifinals.
There will be admission for the game with ticket prices set at $5.00 for adults, $4.00 for all senior citizens, and $2.00 for all students. All DeSales University students will be admitted free of charge with a valid school ID. Children under the age of six will be admitted for free.

DeSales/Misericordia All-Time Series:
The all-time series between the two teams is even at six wins each with DeSales taking the meeting earlier this season at Misericordia, 13-7. This will be the fourth career meeting at DeSales with DSU holding a 2-1 edge and the first-ever on the Bulldogs brand new turf stadium. These two did meet in the postseason in 2013 when the Cougars defeated DeSales, 8-7 in two overtimes.
DeSales in the MAC Freedom postseason:
DSU will be making its fourth appearance in the MAC Freedom postseason and its first since 2014 when DSU defeated King's College in four overtimes to advance to the title game before losing to Eastern University. The Bulldogs are 1-3 all-time in the MAC Freedom Tournament.

DeSales saw nine players earn
All-Conference honors on Wednesday morning and are led by senior
Ryan Loughlin who was named the MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Year. Loughlin is tied for the team lead with sophomore
Joe Neggia who each have 47 total points. Head coach
Matt Brancaccio was also honored on Wednesday being named the MAC Freedom Coach of the Year. DSU opened the season dropping each of its first seven games, including three by just one goal and two in overtime, before winning its first six MAC Freedom games to set a new team record for most consecutive wins.
