Center Valley, PA (February 5, 2023) - The DeSales University men's indoor track & field team competed at the both the NYU Division III Invitational on Friday and the DeSchriver Invitational on Sunday.

NYU Division III Invitational (Friday)
Junior Kyle Dunbar took home a seventh place finish in both the 200 (22.74) and 400-meters (51.16).

Senior Carl Tyce was fourth in the 800-meters with a time of 1:55.41 and junior Shane Artis was fourth in the mile (4:21.95).

Senior Xavier Phoenix finished second in the triple jump (13.62m) and eighth in the long jump (6.35m).

First-year Giovanni Wellington placed second in the weight throw (12.24m) and senior Erik Lapszynski was third (10.94m).

DeSchriver Invitational
First-year Tyler McCulloch was eighth in the 200-meters (24.05), while the trio of senior Billy Solly, Joey Menta, and junior Tim Connell placed second (2:49.21), third (2:51.40), and fourth (2:53.16) in the 1,000-meters.

Connell was also third in the mile (4:40.02) and Solly was fifth (4:42.05).  Junior Matt Chylack placed first in the 3,000-meters (9:52.52) and first-year Forrest Miller was second (9:53.05).

Junior Nick Manidis was second in the 5,000-meters (16:00.82) and senior Tommy Greve was fourth (16:26.61).

First-year Vincent Taormina was seventh in the pole vault (3.30m).

The Bulldogs are back in action in two weeks at the Marc Denault Invitational at Cornell University.
